Control Objects Overview

Controls are standard user-interface elements with specialized behavior (for example, pushbuttons).

In addition to the standard controls provided by Windows, ObjectWindows provides a number of custom controls. ObjectWindows supplies interface objects for controls so you can use controls in your applications. Interface objects for controls are called control objects.
